Sterling Silver and Kingman Turquoise Ring

I have loved Turquoise and Silver jewelry from a very young age. It might be from when I lived in Arizona for a brief period, granted I was only 4 lol, but it did make a lasting impression. My mother loved Turquoise jewelry and had quite a few pieces from our time in Arizona and that may have ingrained in me as well. I have avoided making Turquoise jewelry for a very long time as its quite common to get forgeries made of other stones and some plastics, but thanks to a new friend in Nevada who collects and polishes all his own stones personally I’m very happy to be making southwest inspired jewelry with a Timothy’s Trinkets spin.

These one is a stunner! The triangular shape of this large piece of Kingman Turquoise has to be one of my favorites. The wonderful robins egg blue color along with the orange-ish brown veins are well…stunning! The shank I hand formed by intertwining two pieces of Sterling wire together and then topped the whole thing off with a large Silver leaf along the side.
